Death of a Loved One – Self Paced Workbook [Grief and Loss]

$9.99

Description
Grieving the death of a loved one is particularly difficult, especially on your own. When tragedy occurs in our lives, we so often let ourselves sit in the heartbreak of the experience. For some of us, it is incredibly hard to come to terms with the loss, let alone share these feelings of heartbreak with others. This guide is designed as a gentle way to begin processing the passing of a loved one. In person therapy is one of the most powerful tools in processing these events, however when this type of experience shakes us, it can take us some time to approach a therapist to discuss our experience. This guide is designed to be a non-invasive experience which considers the loss and the intangible losses alongside it. It highlights our strengths as mothers and women and will suggest tools and strategies which aim to decrease the intensity of the loss. We would encourage you to use this guide mindfully and slowly. Some challenging memories and triggering events can be brought up through this kind of work – be kind to yourself and go slowly through it. Written and designed by Kathryn Burke, a social worker in Australia, this guide coaches the participant through grief and loss modules to process the loss.
