Implementing a Strengths-Based Approach. Using any approach can be tricky, but having a poster that is easily accessible and available makes it easier to know how to implement any particular framework! The strengths-based approach is one of the most popular approaches for psychologists, social workers and community service staff. Using this approach means that the client’s strengths are held at the forefront of all interactions. Identifying and drawing on client strengths can be a very empowering experience for clients and promote their own self-efficacy and motivate them for change.
